Edelweiss times are not correct

Unfortunately, this is not due to us but to the way Edelweiss provides you with the calendar feed. Edelweiss does not publish flight times but rather service times.

Because this is unsatisfactory for many of you, we have tried to use a little logic to present the reality a little better.

Events of the day:
– Will be converted into an all-day event in Zurich local time

Flight start:
– Two-digit flight number = start of service minus 80 minutes
– Three-digit flight number = start of service minus 60 minutes

End of flight abroad:
– End of service period is left as published in the calendar

End of domestic flight:
– End of service minus 30 minutes

No times for short-haul flights:
For flights where Edelweiss does not publish times in the calendar, we simply create fictitious times: Two flights are made with block times of the same length and a standard transit time of 1h is set between the flights.

Triangular flights:
Here, too, we have the special situation that Edelweiss does not enter any times for the middle flights in your calendar. We have solved this in such a way that the middle legs of triangular flights last 30 minutes and the transit between the flights always lasts an hour.
